Awarded Claims

The following summaries depict the vast nature of claims that we have won for our very satisfied clients:

44 year old man diagnosed with bladder cancer. Claim was denied prior to our representation and was won within five months after we began working on the claim and without having to appear at a hearing.

63 year old woman filed her own claim but received a partially favorable award consisting of only six months of back benefits.   Her impairments included severe back problems and severe incontinence of urine. After we were retained to appeal the awarded onset date, we filed two appeals of the claim.   We won our client additional back benefits at both the reconsideration and hearing levels, totaling approximately $50,000 and this was accomplished without the need for a hearing.

37 year old man with severe mental impairments whose claim was denied at the first and second levels prior to our representation. After we were retained, we won the claim at the hearing level.

48 year old woman with severe multiple sclerosis, neck, back and vision impairments had lost her claim at the initial and reconsideration levels prior to our representation. After we were retained, we won the claim "on the record" without having to appear at the hearing.

47 year old man contracted sepsis from a sebasceous cyst which was located on his back.  He had surgery to remove the cyst and underwent skin grafting.  Shortly after the surgery, he contracted an infection which resulted in necrotizing fasciitis.  This then resulted in septic shock.  He became totally and permanently blind and was also left with muscle dystrophy and chronic pain.  We won his claim at the initial level in two months.

43 year old woman with severe brachial plexopathy, complex regional pain syndrome, severe thoracic outlet disease and neuropathy, among many other conditions. We won her claim at the hearing level.

64 year old man with an onset date of 1982 suffered from severe psoriatic arthritis and mental impairments. We were successful in reopening prior claims that he had previously filed and won a substantial amount of back benefits at the hearing level.

43 year old man with severe diabetic neuropathy; insulin dependent diabetic; deep vein thrombosis which caused blood clots in his legs. The claim was denied at the first and second levels, however, after we were retained we won the claim at the hearing level.

29 year old woman with Stage IV colorectal cancer.  We filed her claim and won it at the initial level in one month.

54 year old woman with an acoustic neuroma, severe vision, hearing/vestibular impairments and severe back problems. We won the claim at the hearing level.

49 year old man with severe cardiac and mental impairments. The claim was denied prior to our representation, but we won it at the hearing level.

43 year old man with severe spinal stenosis in his neck and back and severe mental impairments. Our client sadly passed away prior to the claim being awarded, however, we tracked down the next of kin, and won the claim "on the record" without having to attend the hearing.

26 year old woman with end stage renal failure.  We filed her claim and won it at the initial level within two months.
